Smart-Consult International is seeking a Data & Business Support Specialist to join our Product Operations team.About the RoleThe Data & Business Support Specialist will support the day-to-day operation and continuous improvement of our data, reporting, and product delivery processes.The role combines data management, analytical reporting, business operations, CRM administration, and process improvement. The successful candidate will work closely with internal teams to maintain the accuracy and reliability of analytical reports, support product delivery, process business information, and contribute to the development of new reports and automated workflows.This position is particularly suited to someone who is highly organized and detail-oriented, comfortable working with data, and interested in improving processes through technology and automation.Key Responsibilities:Manage and maintain data related to analytical reports, product delivery, internal databases, and business operations;Update recurring analytical reports and ensure their structure, consistency, and accuracy;Process and validate business data and support the creation of new reports and reporting structures;Provide regular updates on report and product data, statistics, and delivery status in collaboration with the Customer Success team;Use Microsoft Excel for data processing, analysis, report creation, spreadsheet management, and quality control;Maintain CRM data and ensure customer and business information remains complete, structured, and accurate;Collaborate with internal teams on product improvements, reporting enhancements, and operational processes;Identify opportunities to improve and automate repetitive workflows;Support the development and maintenance of automation processes using tools such as VBA and Python;Assist with general Product Operations and business support activities as required.Qualifications:Education;University degree in Business Administration, Economics, Data/Information Systems, Computer Science, or another relevant field.Professional Experience2–5 years of relevant professional experience in business operations, data management, reporting, product support, CRM administration, or a related field;Experience working with business data and recurring reporting processes is strongly preferred.Technical Skills:Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Microsoft Excel;Good knowledge of advanced Excel functions, formulas, data manipulation, and spreadsheet management;Experience with VBA (Visual Basic for Applications) is an advantage;Knowledge of Python, particularly for data processing or workflow automation, is an advantage;Experience working with CRM systems and maintaining structured customer or business data;Good general Windows proficiency, including file management, software installation, and troubleshooting;Experience with Power BI or other business intelligence and data visualization tools is an advantage.Skills & Competencies:Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy when working with data, reports, spreadsheets, and CRM information;Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to identify inconsistencies, investigate issues, and develop practical solutions;Time Management: Ability to organize priorities, manage recurring responsibilities, and consistently meet deadlines;Independence & Ownership: Comfortable working independently and taking responsibility for assigned processes and deliverables;Adaptability: Ability to work across different tasks and respond effectively to changing business requirements;Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to summarize information clearly and professionally;English: Professional working proficiency in English is required.
